Speed Tour Finalizes Sprint Car, Modified, Super Late Model Scheduleadmin
MERIDIAN, Idaho—The 2021 Speed Tour presented by Pit Stop USA season is just around the corner! With twenty-seven races spread between four tracks in Idaho, Washington, and Oregon, this promises to be the most exciting season of wide-open, wheel-to-wheel action yet.
SPEED TOUR SPRINT CARS
The 2021 campaign starts off with two visits to the tight confines of Meridian, Idaho’s Meridian Speedway on April 17 and May 15. These races will be the only two tune-up sessions before the two-day Neil Alan Fine Jewelry Diamond Cup, scheduled for June 4 and 5. The Concrete Jungle also hosts the Speed Tour Sprint Cars presented by Pit Stop USA for the Firecracker 50 on July 4, in conjunction with the track’s Eve of Destruction XIII on July 31, and for the season-ending Elliott Sportsman and Pink Lady Classics on September 24 and 25.
The Speed Tour Sprint Cars presented by Pit Stop USA return to Twin Falls, Idaho’s Magic Valley Speedway for two events in 2021, one May 22 and the second on August 14. Also back on the 2021 schedule is Hermiston Raceway, which will host the Speed Tour Sprint Cars presented by Pit Stop USA as part of the Labor Day Spectacular on Saturday, September 4.
New to the Speed Tour Sprint Cars presented by Pit Stop USA schedule is the Wenatchee Valley Super-Oval in East Wenatchee, Washington. The Speed Tour Sprint Cars join ranks with the Granite Super Sprint Car Series and the Northwest Sprintcar Racing Association for the triple-sanctioned Thunder in the Valley main event on Saturday, July 17.
In their second season under the Speed Tour presented by Pit Stop USA banner, the hardest-driving tour in the Northwest does battle for ten events across four tracks in three states.
SPEED TOUR MODIFIEDS
The first two dates on the Speed Tour Modifieds presented by Pit Stop USA are back-to-back weekends at Meridian, Idaho’s Meridian Speedway on April 10 and 17. After a May 1 date at Hermiston Raceway in Hermiston, Oregon and a May 22 double-header with the Speed Tour Sprint Cars at Twin Falls, Idaho’s Magic Valley Speedway, June 12 sees the Speed Tour Modifieds return to Meridian Speedway before a one-month break.
The second half of the Speed Tour Modifieds presented by Pit Stop USA schedule kicks off with four double-headers with the Speed Tour Sprint Cars. The first event takes place at East Wenatchee, Washington’s Wenatchee Valley Super Oval for July 17’s Thunder in the Valley. Next up is Meridian Speedway on July 31 for Eve of Destruction XIII, then Magic Valley Speedway on August 14, and Night One of Hermiston Raceway’s Labor Day Spectacular on Saturday, September 4. The Speed Tour Modified presented by Pit Stop USA season wraps up on October 2 at Meridian Speedway.
SPEED TOUR SUPER LATE MODELS and SUPERMODIFIEDS
The Speed Tour presented by Pit Stop USA will also sanction two events at Meridian Speedway for the brand-new Speed Tour Super Late Models; the NAPA Auto Parts Treasure Valley 125 on May 31 and the NAPA Auto Parts Idaho 208 held on August 27 and 28.
